phillip | 23 Apr, 2007 05:48:27 AM hello, i originally owed a credit card debt, things went from bad to worse on my home (someone signed a loan and took money). The mortgage co. told me I had to pay and contact an attorney (cost around $20,000), which I did. While making the high payments and paying and attorney my credit card debts went unpaid and were turned over to collection then written off. Another company has purchase the dept and are threatening leagal action, can they do this? The mortage companyy realized I was scamed and they let me out of my house mortage without penalty however I lost my home all funds (down payment and equity). I have now purchased another home and again money is tight. What can i do. I do not owe a lot of bills, just my car and normal utilities. Is there anything I can do to stop the calls? Is there any hope? I have been through enough. Thank you, Phil | |
