How do you know how many votes you received? I don't see where it shows the amount of votes received for each post??????

Does anyone else see where the votes are actually tallied, or am I missing something, which wouldn't be unusual for me. Laughing

You dont see the votes. It goes by what position your answer is in. When I answered I was #39 and I have moved up to # 1.I am new here, but I think that is how it must work. As you get vote you move up in position.

Shazzers, I don't see any tallies either. I wonder if the previous poster's answer is listed first at #1 and she just thinks that's a ranking order?

It is a ranking order I believe. As you get votes it seems you move up in the ranks. When I answered I was a high number, but as I got a few votes I moved up in the ranks.

Actually, no that is not what I think. The answers are given and the more votes an answer gets it moves that answer up in the ranking order. I have watched how the contest worked last week and then again this week. When I answered the question I was # 39 or 40 cant remember , but then as I got votes I began to move up in the ranks until my answer hit the #1 spot.

Can I also say, and really, no offense to anyone, but if the answer that is at the top right now wins, I will have to really rethink my participation on this site.

If the answer that gets the most votes is for a stripper that needs bigger boobs, as opposed to real debt related issues and answers, then this site has gone downhill a lot farther then I'd thought. Twisted Evil

Also, Jen, I dont want to burst your bubble, but just because you get the most votes doesn't mean you win. It isn't just about votes, Admin gets a say too.

I had the most votes one time, almost double the second place answer, and I still didn't win. So please, dont' get your hopes up, because you might not get what you expect.

Excuse me, but I am not a stripper. People do what they have to do to feed their children. I was 22 years old with 2 children and my husband died in a car wreck. I did what I had to do to keep a roof over their heads and to put food in their mouths. Who are you to put down a persons life style, certainly not knowing all the facts. It is I believe biased people like you who bring a site down. Dont critize other people until you have walked in their shoes.

I did not critize your occupation - I said that if a non debt related answer won it would be sad.

I for one have no problem with you stripping. And yes, exotic dancer is a stripper. Call it what you want, but that is what it is. I know, I stripped for years myself.

And if you have such a hard time feeding your kids, why not put some of that money into a college savings account for them instead of making your boobs bigger?

There is pleny of money in college funds for them, as well as stocks and mutual funds. My kids come before anything or anyone. Sorry you didnt win, you seem quite bitter

No, I'm just telling you not to expect to win just because you have the most votes. It does not go by votes alone. I'm not bitter, just realistic, and you seem to be anticipating this win, and you may not be the winner just because it looks like you will be.

I don't want you to get your hopes up and think you will get the money, then find out that you aren't.
