midios798@yahoo.com | 28 Jan, 2008 10:18:14 AM I received a call from a 2005 loan from "United Federal Bank" saying I owed from Cashnet USA from 2005. I was informed that they were filing criminal charges and that someone was coming to my door to get me. I asked for a copu of a debt verification and they said because they are a payday loan they cannot send or e-mail anything. They said it didn't matter if I paid or not because they were going to get their money. I recall a loan of $300 but they are claiming I owed $1250. Is there anywhere I can report this. The "supervisor" claimed he was in the criminal dept and was filing charges that morning. Three reps I spoke to previoisly all had heavy foreign accents. They had a 678 area code after returning a call they left at my place of employment. Is there anyone that I can turn to since they refused any mailing or e-mail address for written documentation? | |
