Getting Paid to Go to Concerts

I have a new part-time gig that's a hoot! I got a second job at the local concert venue in my hometown and worked my first show this week as an usher! I got to see Chris Issac and Stevie Nicks. It was a fun night--but it was scary when our ticket scanners went down (thanks to me, I might add Embarassed ) and we had a long line of people at the VIP gate who paid $130 for their seats! My first night was almost my last, lol...
But it all worked out and it was great--and no, there were no reports of a middle-aged woman running after Chris Issac's tourbus. I was good, I promise!!

OMG you are so lucky!!!!! That's the kind of gig that I want! Too bad I live in such a small a$$ town with no big concert venues. I love Stevie Nicks!!! Congrats on the new job!

Now the next concert I'll probably work at is Old School Funk, which is Ohio Players, Teena Marie, Cameo, etc. Should be a hoot. It'll be all day on a Saturday and it's an outdoor venue, so I know I'll be nice and red, to go with my uniform shirt, lol...

I wish my part-time job was something like yours! I work part-time at a C-store and some of the people who come in are nasty--crackheads, drunks, you name it! I even had one customer die right in front of me from a heart attack!!! Sorry-digressing here, enjoy your job and have fun with it!!!

OMG, they DIED????????? WHOA.............My husband's last job was as manager of a C store on my street before he had to medically retire. He used to tell stories about some of his, shall we say, more "colorful" customers....

Fallout boys aren't bad...but it is definately a teenager early twenties band(unless you are me-I grew up when New Kids on the block were popular so I am stuck in POP music for the rest of my life...Pretty embarrising that I have every Britney Spearks Cd, N'Sync cd.....I am almost 30)

My kids were into N'Sync--so much that I had to take them twice. And were they crushed when Lance came out of the closet, lol...He was dating that cutie from The Amazing Race.
