hey everybody! guess what? i got the first prize for my drawing competition yesterday. i am so exited! actually it was a charitable function organized by my kid sister's school for under privileged children, and we were requested to participate. i drew a family picnic. had no idea that it would get me a prize, that too the first one!!!
got a prize of 100$, and i donated it back to the organization. i also contributed another 50$. my sister was so happy too. 
i am so happy that i could contribute for this good cause. it was not much and i stood nowhere to the contributions of others, but it gives a great sense of contentment. really! wish i could do something more.

Laurel, Congratulations on your success. Your donating the money back and then some is more than alot of people would do. And $150.00 is alot of money to most of use working people. I for one think that what you did was awsome...every little bit helps.

Hi laurel! really i am feeling so proud of you. i read in one of your posts that you too had some debts, and not only did you donate the prize money, you also gave some from yourself. that's a real good thing you have done. keep up the good work!

I think it is great that you were able to give back and then some. It is a great feeling to be able to do something for someone else. We are proud of you, as you should be proud of yourself!
