Is there a way to know you have a message or do you have to check the link to see if there are any messages waiting? Some sites have a icon or something like that to let you know you have mail...but I don't know if I'm looking in the right place because I don't see anything like that when I get a message.

I haven't found an icon or a pop-up that indicates when I have a private message, I just have to check periodically. If there is a way to fix our profile to indicate it, please let us know!

There is a way to change it in your profile! Very Happy

Click on Edit Profile

Scroll halfway down until you reach the point with all the little buttons.

Find "Pop up window on new Private Message"

Select Yes

Hit submit

Once you've done that, every time you get a new PM a pop up window will open on your screen letting you know there is a new message.
