Internet's first get-out-of-debt community - 129,000 members

I'm going to be losing my internet this week, due to the fact its included in my phone bill, and I'm letting my phone bill go, so I can start chopping away at these PDLs, I would like to at least have dial up, I know that sucks, I remember--- but I must be able to stay in contact with all of you:) Can anyone suggest a low cost internet for me to use in for a while???

Try net zero, or snatch one of those CD's in the stores that offer the first month free. In fact, you may even be able to get a months free froma local service, just tell them you want to try it out. Very Happy

DUH! I knew that, but good news, I am going to go with my cable company for internet only, they can come tomorrow and I don't have to pay until next month, this way I can go ahead and pay T & C and get this party started!!! Its been a good day!

If push comes absolutely to shove, remember that your local public library likely offers internet access for free. Maybe not the best solution, but it is a solution.

On the topic of tapping a neighbor's wifi... Don't do it without asking permission first. You could let yourself in for more trouble than it's worth.
