Why will they not answer to a credit-counseling agent? Is this company that far over the edge? Maybe we should form some sort of anti collection advocacy.

I received a call, He started out by saying " We knew we would run into ''your kind'' out there. and we will make you pay. I just wonder what my kind is?

what you people dont seem to understand is that you are no longer a customer and do not deserve to be treated like one. you are a debtor. you owe money and chose to screw creditors out of their money but you think you should be treated with respect. if you dont like it file bankruptcy.

what you dont understand is that you are not entitled to customer service treatment. you are a DEBTOR. you defaulted on a loan. you are not a customer. also the law you are referring to is the fair debt collection practices act. if your going to quote it like you know it you might want to learn what it is.

Welcome to the forums. As you have checked your credit report and are not late in any of the payments, then I guess you don't need to worry regarding the call from LTD Financial.

They might have been trying to locate a person for recovering the debt and due to some incomplete information; they might have wrongly contacted you. I suggest you to attend their call and give them your explanation. They will rectify and stop calling you in the future.

You should keep optimistic thoughts because your credit report is all neat and clean. Never show such collection calls that you are nervous or scared, otherwise they will try to bully you to the maximum.

Be confident and if they impose any kind of threats to you, then inform them that you are aware of your legal rights and will take legal actions if necessary.

Record their telephonic conversations which might sound oppressive so that you have valid proof and present it to a lawyer and file a case against them.

I believe prevention is better than cure. I suggest you to browse this forum and make yourself well informed of your consumer rights.

This company harrassed my mom said she was a hag and then took her donut over the phone. I don't know how that happened but that is how evil they are. They practice black magic i guess. Twisted Evil

I think they also added 1000 dollars to my credit card account and asked for this money in payments of newly printed bills or else they would continue to harrass me and force me to watch reruns of momma's family in a dark room. Someone needs to stop this company before they strike again!

These types of illegal actions should not go unreported to the FTC or the State Attorney General Office. They have to go through legal action otherwise they will continue with the same harassments. Make your move and file a case against them. The law is at your side.

my husband speaks fluent English, but he is became blind and mentally ill. I am not his guardian, because he thinks he is okay. but this company make he paid already a 1000 from his disability check. a debit that he said he paid already other debt collector.they put this debit in my name,the eqifax told me i dont this debit,when he try to pay with discovery card ,they put other number of credit card number and discovery anulate a paid of more 1300 and said are investigate tis people.they call here constantely abd say many things to me and him for a untrace phone.they want a western union payment,they give him their account in bank one,houston,texas,i dont know the number because my husband copy over a paper you can not read,i have to disconnect my phone and my husband said he has to pay because they go to arrest him'i look for a site,for show him and i found you.i wrote already for fcc and equifax,i m sure this people are crooks and they are abusing him,sorry for my enghish,please investigate this scam artists,they calluntil saturday/

my english is bad dont need to publish my letter.for almost a year,this company took a 1000 dollars or more, from his disability check,i have proof.after that 150 dollars a month ,my husband became blind and mentally ill.maybe 8 months,after that discovery give a credit to my husband and my husband try to pay them,but they put other credit card number and since them,they lost a taken of his disability check.i discouver now,that is against the law take from disability check.please investigate.after that they asking him to deposit in their account in bank one,in houston,texas.

i promise and i tell you only the true. I have proof against them and thanks to you that help me to show so many people it .they are abusive and don't have no misericordy. by the way, my little brother is a debt collector in Dallas ,but he is a nice one.
