Tania,
Contact the original creditor and confirm who is currently holding your account. Then it will be easier for you to make suitable payment arrangement or go on with negotiation.
If both the agencies are appearing on your credit report for the same account, you can dispute the entry with CRA. Two agencies cannot hold the same account. One of them should be removed. Hope this helps. Please keep us update on what is going on.

the list against ltd 77074 goes increased and all the things they are doing are completly out of control.the original creditor can not be reach because they move to england,europe or north polo(natwest bank).i fell very sorry because my husband paid them already more than a 2000 since january 2004 to june 2005,after i found the letters here and checks of 150 a month ,they robber him and this account is not a valid account and disappear from our credit files years ago,i m sure he paid other debit collect in new york but he is not sure.ltd say the account is 2798.09 in january 29,2004 and in november 2,2004 was 2648.09 .i have all the checks here eletronic 150 dollar from his disability check.he gave too much money to ltd and they want more.and now more 1748.09.,500 hundred in january and more money ,money for ltd is never enough because this is the tatic they use to robber people.i think they use no matematics in their business and since they are escrupulous individuos that abuse the system of law in this country i go to wait for justice and GOD DONT GO TO HAVE MERCY OF THEM.

It would be best if you speak to Ltd Financial at this situation. But I'm not sure whether they would respond to you or not. BBB report shows that they are not very attentive to customers' complaints. Hope you have all the records of payments made to them. It will help you prove your situation.
You can contact the consumer protection office of your state and ask for their help. Please inform us the latest happenings in this matter.

I have had MAJOR problems with them calling 20 times a day to harass, even if I talked to them the day before and told them it would be a couple weeks, they call and when I answer they hang up on me, totally illegal! Please help me sue them and put them in their place! 330-435-***

i look the letters in citybank and ltd began to take money in 0ctober 2004 to april 2005.any way they commit a crime because they took from a disability check .i make a mistake because the letters i look only the letters from ltd.in october 2004 the client was natwest and in january 2005 the client was portfolio recovery.i go to send this proofs i have here to attorney of florida.thanks all of you for help me.

I am confused too. It seems from your post that your account is with Portfolio Recovery Associates. Then why is Ltd contacting you?
account#e19n850920***** in 2004
account#pra n850920****** in 2005
I think as your Natwest card was transferred to the collection agency, account number with two different prefix is appearing here. But I cannot find any connection with the Discover Card, account# 42418509*******.
You have mentioned in your previous posts that you have only one Natwest card. Then it seems that Ltd is imposing some others' account on you.
Moreover, before garnishing your disability check, they should have produced court order. IMHO, consult an attorney and see if you can receive compensation.

discover credit balance transfer was 1300 dollars but they annulate because they say your account with creditor is incorret.it was returned by post office."we have reverse the transaction,and you see a credit on your biliing statement.we are giving this matter our prompt attention ,etc...

Keep the document that you have received form post office safely. It will help you prove that this debt is not yours.
One more thing, have you checked your credit report recently? What does it say about the Natwest card?

only ltd send letters to me and the other is a client portfolio ,both in the same letter and they send in my name and my husband try to pay with his discovery card after a take from his disability check.he wants to be free of the abuse of them.because he is a very sick man,blind and this people from ltd wants to make his difficult life more difficult and he was paying them,but they call many times in the day.i try to make his life better and this abuse i cannot take.sorry i want only say that i thank all of you for your time and dont worry i have proof against them .

natwest card is not in my report or my husband in 2005.i want to thank all debt consolidation for help me and i hope with your wonderful help other people can check if ltd is doing the same with them.i go to send to you by fax.did you have a fax number?the famous letters with 2 debt collectors are here.

It seems that Portfolio Recovery Associates has transferred your account to Ltd Financial Services LP. You have told that Natwest card account is not appearing in your report. Could you remember when you last paid to this account? If your account is past SOL then you are not legally obliged to pay it.

i m sorry about my english stanley,it is not a discovery account is a number ltd put for my husband's account for pay 1300 with a discover card.i dont know with account is that,i never saw in my life.because this big mistake of ltd that they dont received 1300 dollars and discover anulate a transfer and put back in the discover card of my husband.
