I got the same call back in May, they were horrible! I spoke with Robert James at 888-901-0007, and he gave me the whole story that I was going to be charged with several felonies etc. I was out of town at the time and they even threatened that if I didn't pay by 2pm they would file charges against me, I needed to find a money gram location in the next town and pay up! I explained that I could make partial payments and they accepted that.When I asked for proof of debt they got really hostile and said they didn't have to.I reminded them about the federal regulations, and they were ballistic!I scheduled two payments to just shut them up and made both on time with a follow-up call. When I made my last payment I was assured that they would send a letter stating that payment had been received. When I called three weeks later because I had not received the letter they told ne that Robert was out and they weren't sure if they could help.When I kept calling they finally told me that the letter had gone to an old address(after they had verified it previously with me!)Then I was told they would correct it and resend the letter....It has another four weeks and their number is not working anymore...HMMM!
