Ok, I am 1 mth behind with chase, and they are taking me off the payment program @ 0% interest if I don't catch up.

I fell behind due to having to put money out for surgery and unexpected medical bills... I am able to pay my 2 other small ccards but chase is a burden amount now with these extra medical bills...

My question is will chase settle with me in due time while I'm still paying on 2 other credits cards?

Yes, I am aware I will have to wait a few more months till they would consider setteling.

I'm just concerned that chase might see that I am still paying on my Cap 1 account and FNB and not settle... Just wondering is there any truth to this or won't chase care???

No, there's really no "company jealousy" or anything of that sort, lol. They understand you have other burdens which is why they gave you the 0% hardship program. I work in this area and I will tell you right now - find a way to pay them on their 0% hardship program. If you don't, they're going to get a hell of a lot meaner from now on. They will happily sue you and win - likely levying your bank accounts and garnishing your wages. I implore you to try to continue you on the 0% plan.

The problem is I can't afford the monthly payment even at 0% int. I'm going to ask them to lower the mthly payment. I understand I am on a great plan but when you can't pay u just can't pay, It's come down to paying a cc ....or being able to fix my car and keeping up on doc bills which if you don;t pay they won't continue treating you. This just plain stinks.

Sub: #5 Are you sure about that ...I had to come off a program @2% a fewSun, 08/19/2012 - 10:08

Are you sure about that ...I had to come off a program @2% a few years back and they wanted to settle with me at that time, Only to say I didn't have the cash for the lump sum so they put me back on a better plan. So why would this time they garnish wages and in Pa I believe they can't do that .

If they can't garnish in your state, then they will levy. Like I said, as someone who works in the industry - you're really lucky to have that 0% plan. I highly doubt they will lower the monthly payments but if they do that would be your best option here. Chase isn't as mean as the other ones (citi, capital one) but rest assured this is pretty much the end of the line. They are legally empowered to demand the entire debt plus fees and they will if you come off the plan.

Sub: #7 I spoke with them again and They will not pull me off the prograWed, 08/22/2012 - 05:38

I spoke with them again and They will not pull me off the program so quickly, just mere threats to get payments. It all depends on who you get on the phone thats willing to expliain things and work with you. Basically they wavied alot of fees when I enetered the plan and your right there not going to work with me in the end if I stop payments.

So I am making a payment and will get caught up, I am 1 year away from paying off chase and I didn't want to mess this plan up but somtimes life throws curve balls and throws you off track!! :)
