Hi,

I know I haven't been around much but I've decided to post this anyway. I guess I could use all the prayers I can get right now. I went to the doctor this week after a self breast exam. I found a lump and it is currently in the process of being biopsied now. I don't have any results yet but next week. There is a possibility it could be nothing. There is also the possibility that it could be breast cancer. I've really been struggling this week because of going through the cancer process with my mom last year/earlier this year. She was right there with me at the doctor's office. I'm really trying to focus on the positive but I'm scared to death. Sad

You will be in my prayers Mishele. My grandmother past away from breast cancer in 1996, I have also been through my own ordeal with cancer (18 years ago and I'm still here). I really hope it isn't anything, I had a lump removed and biopsied and luckily it was nothing. I pray the same will be for you.

Hi Mishele, please stay positive. It's not what you are assuming. This time, next week, you will be saying about the positive results in your reports. There are many prominent symptoms before it gets to the point of having cancer. You have enough time to get it treated, if there is something. But I am quite sure, there is nothing to worry. I will be praying for your good health Smile

Ok Mishele - take a deep breath. I aleady have you on the prayer line so let God take care of the unknown. I know that the fear of something is much worse than the reality. You are doing all of the right things and right now there is really not much for you to do but pray and gather all of those whocare about around you. Both your friends here and your family and friends there with you. this is the time that you need all of the support that you can get I am pming you. Just remember that you don't have a diagnosis yet so try to keep the fear away - it tends to blow things out of proportion. Love and prayers - Colleen

Oh hun...how awful this week must have been for you. Of course you will be in my prayers. But, just remember that even if it is cancer....they have come so far along in this area now that it is incredible. Just know that i will be praying for you. Ditto....positive....more than likely it is just 1 of those stupid lumps...I can't remember the name...but they don't even do anything about them. So try very hard to put your worries in God's hands and all will be fine.

Mishele...I am pming you my cell phone number. I just went through this very same thing, and had a harmless(thank God)tumor surgically removed.The waiting for test results was the worst thing I've ever encountered. Please remember, you don't need to be afraid of anything. Please call me, I am a great listener, and I've just been there. I'll be praying for you.

Thanks everyone for the support. I really do appreciate it. Fins, I will try to call you soon. I spent the entire day in the yard, gardening. It's one of my favorite hobbies and it helped keep me occupied. It helped keep my mind busy which is a good thing. Right now, it's a shower and off to bed. I'm going to be doing the same thing tomorrow.

We had the veggie garden already planted. I was planting flowers yesterday but I will share veggies. I have more flowers to plant today but I'm very sore. I think I overdid it yesterday.
