I have been following the situation regarding MMG and I think they are on damage control. I have seen nothing more than people stating their situation and how to go about getting their money back. Some have gotten refunds and some have gotten refunds that have bounced. I agree with Bossy, I too think it is all talk to get people to quit exposing their company for what it really is.

Vikas;
I agree whole heartedly with your response. I also feel that some of the post in that particular forum may have gone too far at times. over the coming weekend I will go through that thread and see if I can find any offending posts as described by their attorney.

Shortly after the Threat from Riscuity in which they alleged ( but failed to conclusively prove) personal information (name or officers, spouses/ children's name and status, home addresses and phone numbers) was posted, we as a community seemed to agree that that type of information has no place in the forum, and in the future should be moderated.

Given the current overall legal situation the MMG appears to be in (as they are now also facing trial in New Mexico), this forum should be the least of their worries.

I agree with your response also vikas. It's interesting that he doesn't have time to go through all 150 pages of the thread but he does seem to know about the postings, so who is going through it trying to hide. I, for one, am very glad that I have never been mixed up with that company because if I was and I found or knew about this forum I am sure I would feel the same emotion that some of the posting bear. I feel very bad for those people who have lost thousands of dollars to a couple of people who may have started out to help others but turned it into a "circus." Some of those people I'm sure have lost everything. Keep up the good work around here, we all appreciate the hard work you do!

Sue

i'm an unregistered guest hiding behind the valances of my shaddowed identity, anyway..has anything materialized from these threat letters? Any more follow up or threats from other agencies? But I must say I wasn't around when these threads were formed, however; threats against individuals in any form should not be taken lightly. Please take an affirmative approach in keeping us all safe-and yes that includes the scumbag debt collectors who probably do not deserve it! Thankyou to everyone who works endlessly in the forums, you're advise and compassion is invaluable to us wh really need it. Bless you gentleman and ladies

The Stantons have been sentenced. Their pre-trial officer is Chris Jantonio. The judge is Edward C. Voss at 401 West Washington SPC 75, Suite 324, Phoenix, AZ 85003. You may wish to write the Judge and the officer to express your opinions on the sentencing of the Stantons. This is the best way to ensure they get more than just probation.
