I'm sitting here at my desk quietly having my coffee and waiting patienly for my adult children to wake and find that Santa has been here. I am reflecting on Christmas past and thinking of all the good things that have happened in 2007. That of course brings me to all of you who have shared my trials with my payday loans, finances, and health issues. I have to take a moment to again thank everyone and wish you a Merry Merry Christmas....and the peace and happiness that only comes from being with people you love and care about on this day. Presents and money aside...we all have so much to be thankful for.
Have a good and beautiful day!
Sharon

Merry Christmas!! I am taking a second by myself..My husband and little boy are getting ready to go to Grandma's house for even more gifts!! It's been a beautiful day, the Wii was a HUGE hit, and I got satellite radio, among other fabulous gifts!! We are blessed! Have a great day, everyone.

Merry Christmas everyone! Kids were up at 7:00 (they actually obeyed the time frame this year and didn't wake me at 3 a.m....ahh, the joys of kids getting just a little older...)
The Wii is in full play mode already, the Nintendo DS Lite has been tinkered with and is being recharged (their dad got them that), and I'm in the middle of making sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast - bought myself a Knotts Berry Farm gift pack for Christmas containing their YUMMY biscuit mix.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Ahh yes, I remember it taking me about 5 minutes to hook up my new video game consoles as a child..had it up and running in record time on christmas morning. Glad to hear the kids are having fun.
ITs 6am here and nobody else is awake yet....

volleyballmom - I think my older son has a new record for setting up the video game systems - he had the Wii and the DS both set up, programmed and playing within 10 minutes...LOL

Thanks Sharon- we are blesssed!!
I so miss that my kids are grown-really do miss the getting up,dinding Santa has been here and fixing breakfast for everyone!!
I remember long nights puttting together toys- in the days before Wii, and bareley getting to bed before they woke up!
I told my sons when they were little that if they got out of bed to see if Santa was there before daylight-the presents would disappear --sounds mean, but it worked!! Maybe that's why they are a little warped Thanks to all of you for being here, coming here and helping--and being a friend!!..KAren

I'm with you Karen...I do miss the Christmas morning with my small children..all four of them. But now all grown...I can visit my grandkids and see the delight on their faces as they show me what Santa brought. As for my Chrismas morning I am thankful for making through another year...healthly and just maybe a little wiser. Most of all I pray just maybe on this day we can have peace on earth everywhere.
