Hi Everyone! I miss you all so much! I have just been so busy...between what happened with my son, my second oral surgery and now getting ready to move 240 miles!!!! I am relocating to Northern Illinois and the truck comes on the 30th. I signed a new lease this last weekend and now have to PACK it all...LOL.
I just wanted to pop in and say hi...and I'll be back as soon as I can. I stop in to read a little every night but haven't had much time for anything else.
Love to you all!

Best of luck with your move, and may good fortune find you at your new address.

Thanks everyone! My son is doing well...cast is off his hand but he can't use it much. Now he will have to go for rehab. They decided to remove the bullets from his chest maybe in June...one is pressing on a rib and causing pain. Everything else is healing well and he seems to have a good mental attitude as well.
I am trying to pack...I hate it!!!! But I love my new apartment...and it's only 25 min from my sister...instead of 4 1/2 hours! LOL...looking forward to being there just not the getting there.
Hope you all stay well...talk to you soon!

Morning!
My best wishes are with you on your move! I hope it all goes extremely smooth for you.
Personally, I think I'd rather have all my teeth extracted, without Novocaine, than move again. I absolutely hate it and have no patience with it.
Good luck!!!

Oh, ron! Are you sure about that? I keep swearing I'll never move again because it sucks soooo bad. But having all my teeth extracted without novocaine? I'd have to think about that one!

Morning, I am so happy your son is doing better. I am wishing you the best on this adventure.
Ron, Cannr - Hubby and I have moved 13 times in the 16 years we have been together...How much fun is that.

roxy, I can totally relate. In a two year time span, I moved 6 friggin times! Give me a break! Actually, it was about 1 1/2 year time span. I was sooooooooo tired of moving.

Roxy, I would just live out of the boxes then. Saves you having to re-pack and move each time.
Just kidding.
The last time I moved was 4 years ago, actually 4 years ago this June, when my Ex and I split. Lemme tell you, that was actually one move I was more than happy to make.
I know I'm going to have to move again at some point, as I know I'm not going to live where I am now forever. I'm just SOOOOOOO not looking forward to it.
