Read the documents that are presented to you before you electronically sign them.

Look at the address bar on your browser and make a note of the URL.

Check your spam folder because these emails get filed away by your provider because they're considered spam.

You have to CONTACT the company via phone or through the website to pay your loan in full.

If you don't contact anyone then you're going to get hit for the fee the first four times and then the automatic paydown begins on the fifth extension. This means you're going to pay $500 for a dinky $300 loan after five extensions.

Slow down, take your time and learn what you're getting into. Most times people are too harried and desperate for cash that these simple steps are ignored because they're not obvious common sense when you're worried about feeding your kids, fixing your car or trying to pay off your creditors.

I can't stress enough the benefit of using the processors and this is a prime example. Once they are given a C and D letter, immediately contact their processor who can enlist the help you need to stop the debiting. Then be sure and let the PDL know that you have done so.

oh my goodness I was approved for a $300 loan under the quickest-payday-loan site. so after i was approved for some reason I felt really uneasy about the loan so i did a little research and oh boy what did I find all kinds of complaints. so i call the number on the loan docs that I printed everytime I hit opt. "@" the line would disconnect I tried about 5times. so I go online again serching for a diff contact #. finally I found this site with number that actually worked. now before I called I sent 2 emails to them. 1 reguested a lower loan of $200 then the 2nd to completely cancel the loan. I didnt get a response. so I finally get a good number and call. Whom ever the B&%$( was that answered needs to fired. she got real nasty with me when all I said to her was that I wanted to cancel the loan. she says that she send responding emails to me, which I havent gotten. (Seems a little strange since I had no probelm recieving the 1st two emails they sent me when letting me know I was approved for the loan). so I asked to speak to supervisor...what do you know, she is the supervisor. she hangs up on me. I call back get her again she tells me theres no one else I can speak with and that the loan has been cancled. That great but the attitude is horrible. she hangs up again. I call back and get a diff rep this time. expl to her waht my issue is, and let them know why I chose to cancel and that they have already been reported to BBB and that I will be filing my own report will the BBB here in Columbus Ohio, PLEASE BEWARE*******

Yes MTE is very nasty to deal with. They called my job while I was away at lunch and my coworker answered my line. When my coworker told her I was out to lunch they said yeah right whatever and said by MS.(used my name) and hung up on my coworker. Such A..holes.

I got a loan from payday loan in july,1st I thought it was for 2 weeks. I didn't think anything of it. until I got a statement showing me I had all these debits from mte..so I told the bank I did not authorize this and they stopped and repaid the ones that I saw 465.00 I had missed the 270.00 worth..now I am finding out that was from payday loan. so they debited all together $735.00 on a 300.00 dollar loan. Well after the bank credited my account the 475.00 I realize i only paid....270.00 on the loan I didn't know that mte was payday loan and they are threatening to turn me in to the police for fraudulant check writting..can they do this?

No they can't.

MTE is illegal. They can't even take you to civil court.

Go here and learn how to deal with illegal lenders.

Beware that MTE is a booger but they will eventually give up.

How is it that this company is allowed to sell my personal information to another company without my permission or without contacting me?

Hi,
I too had a loan with quickest.cash.com (AKA MTE), They have debited my account over $800.00 for a $300.00 loan.
I closed my bank account,so they can't get anymore from me, and have filed with the BBB who has a file on them a mile long.
The BBB validated my complaint, and has contacted them, but they have till the 25th of Feb, to respond. I have requested a refund of $600 for overcharges and subsequent NSF fees caused by their illegal debiting. But I won't hold my breath that I'll get any money back.

Watch out for these $%*#$%'s they are real rip off artists.

They are not allowed but they are illegal so they care less about breaking the law.

Foolishly took out a loan with MTE. Now a National Payday Loan company is taking cash from me. Is this normal or should I stop payment to them?

How much was the loan for and how much have you paid back including an interest payments or rollover fees?

Also, what state are you in.?
