I attend the University of Texas at Dallas and I pretty much have to pull my own weight. No help from family or anything. So I had a few bank accounts that went delinquent and a store credit card account that has been delinquent for a while. I am currently making a decent income now and i need to clear my credit up before i graduate next year

You are doing the right thing of cleaning your credit. Go ahead and talk with the creditors about your intentions. They will arrange some payment options for you so that the debt clears off in a few months. If you wish to put your accounts in the consolidation plan, a counselor will be calling you soon. He will analyze your financial situation and offer some repayment options to you. Your creditors will update the accounts with the bureaus after all the accounts are paid off. This will also increase your credit scores over a period.
