Our law firm is taking a lot of bad posts in this forum, and unfortunately, we cannot control who says what. In some respects, this is a blessing, because free speech should prevail. However, because the forum is intenret based, creditors and collection agents can post here as well. I am telling all consumers and the monitor of this message board you should delete any post from a debt collector.
Be assured that people that post ridiculous allegations, such as "The Law Firm is Stealing Money, Committing Fraud," and somehow is getting away with it is just plain silly.
I have said this before, Consumers, debt collectors are telemarketers that will lie. More important, any consumer that follows our instructions has their debt completely eliminated, or settles with .20 - .30 on the dollar and no negative history.
When clients, do not maintain a complete and specirfic log of who is calling them and forward this log to our attention, we cannot help.
Every consumer is told by our firm to read the publications offered by the FTC. Namely, the Fair Credit Billing Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We enforce these three laws, and it is a simple process.
1. We audit a cosumer's most recent billing statements.
2. We challenge innacuracies under the FCBA.
3. We monitor any vioations of the FCBA during that process.
What happens while my bill is in dispute?
You may withhold payment on the disputed amount (and related charges), during the investigation. You must pay any part of the bill not in question, including finance charges on the undisputed amount.
The creditor may not take any legal or other action to collect the disputed amount and related charges (including finance charges) during the investigation. While your account cannot be closed or restricted, the disputed amount may be applied against your credit limit.
Will my credit rating be affected?
The creditor may not threaten your credit rating or report you as delinquent while your bill is in dispute. However, the creditor may report that you are challenging your bill. In addition, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants who exercise their rights, in good faith, under the FCBA. Simply put, you cannot be denied credit simply because you've disputed a bill.

Hmmm... if a consumer turns over numerous accts. to a settlement company, they are all disputed, and this appears on someone's credit report, that would not look too good to me if I was a potential creditor. Maybe one or two accts., disputed, but numerous....certainly tips the creditor off as to what is going on.

If a creditor made a decision to deny credit upon that fact, that would violate the Equal Credit Opportunity Act.
I swear, we know what we are doing. What is happening is that creditors and debt collectors are being more effective in lying to these people and they stop following our directions.
Everyone in here, search at Yahoo(dot)com. "United States Code" select the first returned link it is cornell law library.
CHAPTER 41—CONSUMER CREDIT PROTECTION
SUBCHAPTER I—CONSUMER CREDIT COST DISCLOSURE
SUBCHAPTER II—RESTRICTIONS ON GARNISHMENT
SUBCHAPTER II-A—CREDIT REPAIR ORGANIZATIONS
SUBCHAPTER III—CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES
SUBCHAPTER IV—EQUAL CREDIT OPPORTUNITY
SUBCHAPTER V—DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES
SUBCHAPTER VI—ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFERS
These are the laws we enforce. Basic and simple. All the other nonsense in this forum is subterfuge.
Any of these disgruntled people come foward. I agree to provide pro bono services with the condition that if we settle a case with a creditor or third party debt collector, we keep the attorneys fee award in court. I will copy the administrator of this forum on all activity so they can publish our progress.
There is nothing more to say. I made my offer. If what these people are saying is true, they will take the offer. If they are lying, they will slander, libel, and defame our company.

Edward you sound like you need a life. I agree with Tiffany I was took for $500.00 and can't get it back. I hate your company and the people who make me feel stupid everytime I called there to give them info on my creditors. I was put on hold, (far more than any other company I've ever dealt with), the employees are rude, and I don't like the way the company is run. I've looked at the company with the BBB and they have a sucky rep. with them. To many people are coming in here and letting people know what kind of service you guys do and I totally agree with all the posts. There is not one good thing in here that I've read that states you have helped anyone! Now Mr. Edward explain that to me and the others in here. What is up with that? I've called Hess Kennedy and the guy who was taking my info asked if one of my creditors was black. Now why would he do that? That is very rude and harassing to me. That is why I've decided to settle on my own and not mess with your # 0 company. Now take that to the bank and put it in your account with every one else's money. How do you sleep at night? I'd like to know EDWARD? God help you and your company You'll need it one day!!!!

"Edward it sounds like you need a life." Personal attacks usually comes when someone is presented an argument or position that they cannot rebut.
We have discovered that all the lies here about fraud, stealing, etc., are really customer service issues. I can agree that customer service is important, and most law firms lack it.
It is obvious that you have deeper issues than debt that you should probably attend to. Your veiled threats are not moving. Just today, we will be eliminating $267,987 worth of debt. I have the documentation to prove it.
Don't attack me because you gave up and stopped wanting to fight the banking system. If anyone lied to you, it was the banks taht loaned you money and billed you illegally.
Look, it is obvious that you are not interested in taking care of your finances. If you or any of the other liars in this forum were serious about their finances, they would come forward and agree to the continegency fee arrangement i offered and post the progress in this forum.
It is easier to hide behind your keyboard and ethernet cable than come forward and live in the light.
Best of luck to you.

I have not dealings with the company, never heard of them before coming on here, don't know what they really do or anything like that. I have been reading what has been written on here about the company and EDWARD's defense, and I am sorry EDWARD, but all I see is you repeating yourself, not trying to help anyone that has had problems with your company or really even given straight answers. I have only been on this board a very short time, so am not in any "click" or group or anything like that. I am an individual that found this site and was able to find some help. I have read a lot of the complaints about your company and have read your responses and have to say that you are not representing your company very well at all. You are evasive when asked direct questions, you repeat yourself and even get nasty with the people that post, reference the following statement: "It is obvious that you have deeper issues than debt that you should probably attend to." and calling people liars, etc. From what I see, these people are telling thier experience with your company and how disatisfied they are with it. It does not make them liars. You cannot vouch for what or how each of you co-workers handle things. It seems like you are the only one from your company on here defending your company and I hate to say this, but you are acting like what everyone has said the people from your company act. Just from reading your posts and how you have conducted yourself "as a professional", I would not use your company, even if it were recommended. To be honest, you are way too defensive and not willing to answer straight forward questions, and have to say you sound very young and act like my kids do when they have done something wrong and have been caught and trying to cover it up. You do not know what these people are doing or have done to help themselves, you cannot say they have not followed an attorney's advice or anything like that. You have not personal knowledge of this, so you have no right to make such comments about people you have no dealings with. These people evidently have had bad experiences with your company and for them and they are voicing their experiences.
That being said, if you are truly here to defend your company, I would suggest conduting yourself in a professional manner that represents the "image" you say your company has, don't condem anyone until you have walked in their shoes or until you have all the facts, and lastly, truly try to help these people by answering specific questions and not quoting something anyone can get out of a book, be understanding, do not put these people down for their bad experiences and own up to the fact that no company is perfect! Instead of putting people down for thier bad experieces why not say "Hey, I am sorry for the bad experience you had with my company, what can I do to help make it right" and then really try to help.
Ok, I am off my soap box now and will continue on with my own debts I am trying to get worked out, and thanks to the people on this board and their suggestions and support, I may just make it.

So is that why you are being so nasty? Go back and re-read your post and how you are talking to the people here on the board. If you are trying to represent you company here, I have to say you are doing a very poor job of it. Go back and re-read some of your posts and how you respond to the people here. Several times you were asked to answer specific questions and you have skirted around the answers and never really answered anything. It would seem to me that you would try to show the positive side of your company rather than carry on the way you have been. It does not look good for your or your company. If you are truly interested helping people, why not do it here and just answer the questions people are asking and try to make ammends somehow. Not once have I read where you have apologized for the actions of your company. All you have done was pass the blame onto the people who have had bad experieces. It is so easy to pass the buck and blame others than to blame yourself. How do you think you company would feel if they read how you were acting here on this forum? Do they that you are posting here and what is being said? Might want to rethink your actions here.

Mistakes can be admitted in one time by telling a truth.
If one wants to stay away from it, you need to load up with one hundred lies, with no explanations heard.
Nothing implied.....

"Look at how you are talking to people on this board"
One more time. People are beginning their rants and raves with "Hess Kennedy stole my money" "Hess Kennedy is committing fraud." I have no obligation to treat anyone with respect and understanding when they lie. For the last time, ANYONE THAT SAYS THAT HESS KENNEDY STEALS AND COMMITS FRAUD in this forum is a coward and a liar. Period.
You read the original posts that I responded to. When I fleshed out the REAL issue "2Band" it became apparent that the issue was customer service, and that the poster was merely FRUSTRATED.
If anyone is frustrated about customer service, and not because their Creditors and third party debt collectors are harrassing them please step forward.
I did receive an email today from someone who wants to step forward and allow us to represent them on contingency, follow instructions and post in this forum the results.
I am walking in the truth. People that post exagerated lies becuase they are frustrated with customer service do not warrant "amends".

Edward ~ first I will say, I agree with SUEBEE in looking forward to seeing the results.
Second, I guess the point I was trying to make is that 2 wrongs don't make a right. You are doing the same thing on your posts that you are complaining about others doing to your company. As I said, you do are not representing you company well by how you have been conducting yourself on this forum. Also, whether or not you are in the "customer service" department or not, it is still a part of the company you work for, so in turn, that part of the company reflects back on the rest of the company. Customer service is very important to a business and like I said, it doesn't matter what area a person works in, it is all basically customer service. I would ask if you are so concerned about the reputation of your company, whether you are in the CS dept or not, why would you not take the problems and concerns that people are having and let your company know about this and see if it could be corrected?
I am sorry, but for me, after reading your posts and how you have conducted yourself and the things you have said, I would never use your company nor would I recommend your company to anyone and this is all based on your conduct here. I have been working for many years (since I was 12 to be exact) and have dealt with all kinds of situations with customers and no matter what I felt (meaning if I thought they were wrong or not), I never once spoke to anyone who was disatisfied with a company I worked for like you have spoken to the people of this forum. You supposidly working for an attorney's office, should know how to conduct yourself and represent your company. You have represented your company, but to me, in a negative light. Understand that no company is perfect and you are not going to please everyone. Sometimes when people complain and if you know what the problems are, then maybe work can be done to correct them and keep them from happening again.
I personally do not know anyone on this forum, but I do know that they have been and are a big help to me with what I am going through.
I know that I probably did not get through to EDWARD, but at least I said what I felt.

Truth is eternal. This website is a scam. It refers people directly to Consumer credit counseling of America when you fill out the form.

Chuckles thinks Edward is trying to talk around people on here. Chuckles thinks if Edward's company would treat their customers fairly when they first call, it wouldn't get to this point. Chuckles thinks Edward's company needs to listen to their clients so they don't have to complain so much about their company.
