I have been called again this time by someone from Global financial, which is the same place. Asking me why I think this is PIF, what do I tell them? I can copy this info into my reply email...is that enough? Paid $405 on a $350 loan already.

I sent the email yesterday regarding the Florida laws and how my account was PIF, and Mr. Atkins replied with...."we are not in Florida, so we don't have to follow Florida Laws"! Now wat? I also received an email saying I need to contact them to make a payment on my account because they've had trouble with my bank accoung....an account I closed in December.

I've been dealing with cashnet500, and they are a hard one. I've filed a complaint, and my state (Oregon) is investigating them. The head guy at the licensing office in Oregon even called cashnet500 on my behalf and they didn't care. They refused to mark my loan PIF. They actually told me that since they are licensed in Utah, and Utah's laws allow them to lend in other states, so they were fine. Who ever heard of one state making laws that apply to other states?
But the good thing is they haven't called or bothered me since. I got one generic email saying there was a problem with my checking account and that was it . . . . It's been almost 2 months.

I just filed an online complaint with the Forida department of Financial Services. Where do I go to file a complaint with the AG for my state, does anyone know?

I would check out your state's .gov site . . . It should have a link to the AG's page there.
