They were very hostile would not give me any information regarding a payday loan from a company I don't know of and they threatened jail time and fraud if I did not pay by 5pm. I paid it but now I think it is a scam because I did not receive my "release" papers from them. They are quick to accuse and demand but when they have a release..... Any help to get my money back if it is a scam?

Do you have the proof of your payment? Verify with the CA if they have posted your payment towards the account that they are collecting. If not, tell them to do it asap otherwise, you will be filing a legal case against them. Take the help of your state AG and get them investigated.
