Immediately get their debit disputed by your bank. They will possibly get your whole money back as you never had a loan from MTE.

Do you remember having loan from any of their affiliates?

After I revoke their debit at the bank and sent my ltrs to the company and they replied with a settlement and they said since "I had revoke the debit they were not going to debit acct anymore. But yesterday when I check my baking online there was a debit for %80 fppened, from MTE. I called the bank and asked what had happened that they allowed the ach to go thru their answer was that the revoke statement showed the amt of $95 and (which was the debit for 1/3/2007) and the one for 2/5/2007 was $80 they had to honored. So I sent an email to MTE telling them that since they had gotten the $80 that my account should bePAID IN FULL since their offer for settlement was $50.00. As of 2/6/07 I have not heard anything from MTE.

Molly I would not trust this company at all. They will continue to debit your account any way that they can even in paper check form. This is one dirty bunch of people that knows how to get around the law. I would close that bank account and get a new one. Best Wishes KYSIDE38

Close your bank account immediately. It's the only way to be sure that they will not debit anymore!

I received another email from MTE this afternoon in which they tell me that settlement the offerer of $50 was after they debited the $80 and the balance would be $50 + $15 finance charge and they were so kind that they waived the $15. They said that I needed to let them know within 7 days from the date of the first email when I was going to pay the $50 otherwise they are going to put the account in collection. I am so P...t with this company and all their bs about that they are inmune to the laws because they are in Tribal compound. I want my money that they owe me.

Hi there. Just got a call back from Roger Wagner last night as a matter of fact! I live in NY State and he told me to call and find out if they are licensed in my state, that's pretty much all he could do.

Our laws here are confusing. First they say it's "Strictly Prohibited", then in the next sentence they say..."Well, it's Prohibited..BUT if they have a license...blah blah blah" Well which is it???

Still waiting to here from the NYS AG office on all six companies I turned in. I haven't heard one peep from any of the lenders just yet......I shouldn't have said that too soon! Now my phone will be ringing off the hook!

There is a Way, Please keep us posted on the outcome from the Attorney Generals office. WV is sucessful so far in getting many of these companies to refund money to consumers and to cease and desist in this state. KYSIDE38
