got myself in trouble, 70,000 in various credit cards 
this is the year im taking control and doing something about it!

Don't worry, everything will be set ok and you should be able to get debt free. Have you gone through all your debt accounts and calculate how much you can afford each month? You may prioritize the debts into two. Keep the accounts that are recently defaulted in one side and the others that are defaulted since a long time and are nearing the SOL expiry mark to be kept in the other side. Then, figure out which debts are added up with the highest interest rates and the highest balance. One consultant referred by this website is going to offer you a free quote. Discuss the repayment plans before you decide anything the program.
