i'm a 24 year old with lots of dumb young kid debt. i lived on my on when i was 18 and lived on credit cards fell behind on bills and tried to finance a car i couldn't afford. the car was repoed and with two kids i'm trying to get my life back together so that soon i can buy a house and get on the right track.

You have come to the right place and I applaud you for realizing that you need to correct your current financial situation. If you supplied your phone number when you registered on here, a debt counselor will be calling you and you can discuss your options. Don't beeat yourself up for past errors--the main thing is you are taking steps to correct it now. Do you work or have a source of income?

How much is your total debt? You can enroll in one of the debt management programs and pay through easy monthly installments. Take the free counseling and figure out the best plan in your situation. You will have no problems if you stick to the payment plan. You will make the right move for a debt free life.
