hi my name is rachel. ive gotten myself in debt by getting credit cards in the mail while i was only 17. Being so young i thought if i juss spent a min. i would be able to pay it back, in the end i found myself close to 10,000 in debt and i need help because i would like to finance a car and im not able to do that till some of my debt is paid back. so i need help in anyway possible. thank you.

Have you called your creditors and proposed a payment plan? How old are these accounts? If they are more than seven years old, they are going to fall off from your credit report.
If you really need to pay the debts and are having hard time in making the payments, speak with a debt consultant and discuss about your options. You can ask him about settling your debts with the creditors or consolidating into one lower monthly payment plan.
