I recently got into a rut when my exhusband stopped child support payments. I would not need this help if he would continue payments. I want to get my self out of debt and no have to rely on these payments. I work fulltime and currenty attend college part time that is until fall which I will be taking 12 hrs.

Is there an agreement that your ex is legally responsible to pay the child support? I would recommend you talk to an attorney about the arrears and getting him to start paying. Good luck!

You can also contact the Child Support Bureau, who can suspend his driver's license for non-payment.

I just wanted to say good for you that you are working at bettering yourself and going to school! I know it's not easy doing it later in life and trying to work at the same time. I'm in the process of trying to do the same thing.

Hey my dad was supposed to pay child support and they could never find him (he was in canada somewhere) but now I'm 20. I wonder if they found him would he still have to pay back support?
