Yes, good credit is very important to have a decent living. Your credit will automatically improve after all the accounts that are now posted negatively in your file are shown paid. For this, you can either put your proposals to the creditors and clear the debts. Or you can seek professional help from a reputed dmp company.
Don't trust any company that says they will wipe off the negative information from your file. It's their way of making money by charging a fee. According to the FCRA laws, the negative item will go off from your file only when it is past the seven years reporting time.
