This is what I just got:

Quote:
"Your account with Cash Supply is severely delinquent. We have made numerous attempts to contact you in regards to this matter, but we have not been able to reach you.

You must call Alan immediately at 1-800-416-8907 or you will leave us no choice but to pursue our rights as provided by law to collect this debt:this may include legal action and negative reporting to all the major credit bureaus.

Sincerely,

Alan Henderson

Cash Supply Recovery

This is an attempt to collect a debt; any information obtained will be used for that purpose"

break, I think I replied in another thread for you. They will not be licensed in your state if pdls are prohibited. I think my response was to tell them to bite you. Laughing

So if they are licensed in New Mexico, they still have no case, right? It's just I'm sick of being nervous when I get these emails and calls and things like that.

break...I know it's difficult when they email or leave messages like this...it can be berve racking! But the law is on your side...so don't let their threats throw you...have you filed complaints yets to the BBB at your states attroney's office??? In a lot of cases one or the other is able to help mediate closure for you.

I don't feel I need to pay them. They won't settle on the full balance, so screw them and all the BS they spew.

break, you are NOT a pain. New Jersey is not like one of the "funky" states that will allow an internet pdl if they are licensed somewhere. Cash Supply may well be licensed in New Mexico (good for them). However, you reside in New Jersey. Send them the letter stating they are illegal, your state laws, revoke everything, blah, blah. Make sure they can not access your bank account. You're okay! Wink

they def. cannot access my bank account as that account has been closed for 4 months. I just want to know if these guys or ANY PDL has come after, legally, anyone for these type of things. It's just that when I hear "you'll be O.K.", I might be taking it the wrong way.
