Payday loan sites multiply in Ohio

The break down by county over a 10 year period is as follows:
Cuyahoga: 1996 - 13/2006 - 160
Geauga: 0/ 3
Lake: 0/ 40
Lorain: 1/ 30
Medina: 0/ 15
Portage: 0/ 9
Summit: 3/ 65

Sounds like the people of your glorious frigid state need to band together and clean house at the voting booth. A really good example of money talking and that lawmakers care very little for the common person that are effected by their actions!

Those are scary statistics to see how fast these places are growing in Ohio. Our town has too many as it is and there seems to be new ones popping up all of the time. Rolling Eyes

I find it interesting to note that we as individuals take great lengths to hide any sign of financial distress from our friends and relatives, yet PDL storefront locations should be a glaring indication that as a whole, we're in quite a bit of trouble. I'm sure I could draw some parallels to the prevalence of liquor stores in urban areas.

I'm in OH also and the storefronts keep multipying in my part of town. One of the storefronts that I did pay off had the nerve to send me a postcard the other day stating that I'm a good customer and they could reloan to me Evil or Very Mad
