Rio resources/mte financial ordered to stop lending!!!!

mrstimeedenson, it it illegal because MTE/Rio are located in Oklahoma. They do not have a license to lend in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit has issued more than one "Cease and Desist" letters to them. I have one that they cc'd me in on. If you would like a copy PM me with your email address and I will send it to you.

I am in Florida and called Ok. to complain. They said that yes they sent that letter, but it only applies to Oklahoma no other states.

NO it does not apply to on OK residents, I received my letter today from the State of Oklahoma for US Fast Cash and ameriloan, stating they are not considered Deferred Depost Loans they are considered supervised loans which they need to be licesend for with a 10% interest rate, and these 2 companies don't have that. So they are ordered to consider my loans null and void and I am entilted to any monies paid to them even and NSF charges that were encured for their illegal action. If any one needs to see these letters I would be more then happy to scan them and send them along. Get those COMPLAINTS IN IT WORKS. 2 more down..YA

oh sorry, it also says that i am not obligated to pay either the principal or any loan finance charges since this is an illegal action

Thanks for the update. I thought it was for all loans they have done and it didn't matter what state you were in. Can you send me copies of the letters as well? Thanks so much. I am going to get refunds myself on a couple of their affiliates.
