Thanks chizhy for your hard work and dedication on this matter. The letter reads to me that they are ordered to stop lending in Oklahoma but other residents have taken advantage of this, besides Oklahoma state residents I mean. I say we keep filing our complaints with Oklahoma and our own home states.

Do I have to file a complaint with OK's AG for EVERY pdl I have through MTE/RIO. I have been in contact with my states AG (WI) about Bass & Associates today and was thinking about forwarding this to her to check out. They have had lots of complaints over ipdls plus I have been trying to work on getting things changed on how pdls work in Wisconsin because the laws here stink. Great job to those who worked so hard in getting these guys to shut down. I am keeping my fingers crossed because that would be 4 down and 3 to go.

puddlejmpr,

You will need to file a complaint for each DBA that you have or had a loan through with MTE. Each loan is different so it needs to be done this way. Plus this will be more complaints against this company. What exactly is your situation?

What happens if Rio has "sold" your loan to another company?

Ok update. I just called the Chamber of Commerce, Miami Ok. I asked "Is Miami Ok on the Reservation"? The woman almost laughed at me while telling me "no". I said "Well, several tribal headquarters are there in Miami, correct?" and she said yes, but those were office buildings(that apparently they lease). So bottom line, MTE is not on the Reservation and is listed as a US not Tribal company. I'm calling my attorney now. I think a civil suit could be in order.
