It says in the letter that if they have made loans to anyone, the loan is null and void and the Debtor doesn't have to pay principal or interest.

But since Rio is in Oklahoma, it doesn't matter what state we are in, they are not allowed to lend to anyone. So all of their loans are null and void!!

Irish, OH is watching all of the other states and how they are dealing with ipdls. If you filed a complaint with the AG then they will automatically send a copy of it to the Dept. of Financial Institution who have been compiling a file of all the ipdl complaints since Mid-Sept. of 2006.

Oh yes, I feel great. I just hope everyone will continue to send in their complaints to Oklahoma where Rio is set up.

As soon as I take care of a few matters at home, I fully intend to make sure that they won't cause anymore trouble for us in Louisiana. Good job Oklahoma.

Steeler, I have filed complaints on all of the ipdls that I have dealt with. And I cc them with every e-mail I send. Maybe we will get more action with the new ag. Kudos Chizhy for the hard work that you did.

They did attend a conference in FL regarding this matter with several other states being present. Action can't happen over night, I can only say that it is in progress.

I just wanted to clarify something. I don't live in Oklahoma, I live in Texas. I received the letter from Oklahoma because the Attorney General of Texas sent my complaint to them. So this isn't just for Oklahoma residents. Rio has been told to shut down ALL lending.
