I have something on my CR says Palisades Collection L, no number or addresss to contact them. Doesn't tell me what the charge is for, it just says I have a balance.. Any help will be appreciated.. Thanks a bunch..

This is what I found with the BBB at http://www.trenton.bbb.org/nis/newsearch2.asp?ID=1&ComID=0221000012001 643 they are a collection company, usually dealing with ATT, Cingular,etc., with not so many kind comments about them on this forum!! You can dispute the item with the reporting agency on your report, if you don't know what this is, or believe it to be wrong..Good Luck..Karen you can search this site and see what others have done with them

Dispute the item with your bank. They are required to verify the info with the CA and give you the details. If the item isn't verified, they need to remove it from your credit copy. Do all the correspondences in writing for proof.

Yes I agree with weeswie. Never make any communication with these people over the phone. Its outright humiliation. Always communicate with them in writing. Send the letters via certified mail with a RRR. And remember to keep a record of every letter, documents, mail or fax. It will help you in supporting your position.
