Hello, I need to get a new heat/ac unit installed in my home before winter. The price is $10000.00. I have $1500 to put down, but I need to finance the rest. I owe $26000.00 on my home and I have $8000.00 in equity. My credit score is 569. My question is, should I use the equity or apply for a loan?
