Why do people have to lie. This is the info I got from my AG about 3bpaydayloans.

This letter is in response to complaint ####. I feel like #### has taken advantage of my company. Our website clearly states that it is for Utah residents only at this time and that we are in the process of being approved in other states. We paid approximately three hundred dollars in fees to get ###'s business. We try to screen our applicants but some get through the system. Additionally, we had agreed to work out a payment plan with ###, but while on this payment plan she applied with my company two additional loans. She was denied for both of these loans. We kindly ask ### not to apply for a loan on our web site again and we will refund her the fees we charged. A refund of four hundred dollars is being sent as she requested by money order. We have also marked her account as paid in full. We have added notes to her account to ensure that she in not given anymore loans. This account was never given to a collection agency so it will not affect her credit. I think this addresses all of the issues. Thank you for you help.

I guess your physical mailing address was deleted from the application you completed online. Do they think people are stupid? Do they think an AG is so stupid as to believe their letter? Wow...but if I get my overpaid fees back they can think I'm a total moron.

This is crazy Sad ! When you sign up for the loan you put your mailing address with zip code. One of two things is wrong
1. You lied.....not likely
2. They lied.......great possiblity

I go with #2! Community what do you think?

My suggestion is to program the form where it will kick out non-Utah residents.

Maybe it will cost them too much money Confused .

They're just trying to cover thier butts, it's an unlikely story. Anyone with an ounce of sense can see right through that. Wink

paul. . what's with that bar on the side anyway? It always seems to be in the way of the posts. Can I send an email to someone to see if it can be reconfigured? Thanks a bunch.

I am sorry guys... I did not get to finish my thoughts on this before I had to go do something. I am at work.

First I wanted to say.....
Check out the website 3bpaydayloans.com it says nothing about only being a Utah resident. It does state a few states it will not lend it but nothing about Ohio nor saying being a resident of Utah. They called me to confirm my information. They knew I lived in Ohio not utah. How does that slip by in the system when I talked to a human being.

Also it states that I agreed to a payment plan. YEAH right I would never have agreed if I knew I overpaid. I also NEVER replied for the loan twice as they state. So how could I be denied.

They state they wish I do not apply for any other loans. I have emails from them telling me I would be getting a refund and to reapply anytime. As a matter of fact I believe that I posted the email on one of these threads!

The AG is the one that sent me the information. That was their response to the complaint that I filed against them.

When I read that attachment I had to clear the air with the AG to because I don't appreciate the lies they told. I pointed out the info. that I just posted to her and she emailed me back saying she could not find on their website that it was only Utah residents and she also said this....

"Something I did noticed when I received their response; they state they are located in Utah, the area code for their telephone and fax numbers listed on their response is from Virginia. I suspect they are even not located in the USA."

So I think they should get their stuff straight before they send info.

I told her that it states they are in Utah but they are located in Virginia as I have proof. They probably use Utah as a cover as the laws are not as strict there and because they are illegal in VA. I went on the VA Ag website and they were suing lots of internet because they were not aloud in Virginia. How does this one get by. I don't know. I think it is because they are opereated as a cash checking business but also offer payday loans and internet payday loans.

Their response to the BBB was totally different. I think that with what my AG stated in her email is that she knows they are lying to her. Pretty said if you ask me.

I'm still waiting for the response from my AG... I'm in NC and I hope they're helpful.
