After two weeks, I received a response from my letter to 500FastCash, requesting a PIF and a refund of $195. I've loaned from them since December, and have paid $595 in interest alone. My current loan principal is $400, so wouldn't you think that I've paid the dues? This is what they sent me--I'm not sure how to respond to this:

Do not pay them another dime. Request your refund from them. Tell them that they lent illegally to you and you do not accept their offer. Just crazy that they now want more from you.

Thanks...I figured that I should resend the letter that they have already--they have been reported to the FTC, so should I also give them the case number?

Ok, I sent the letter...but I also need to file a complaint with my AG--I guess in Wisconsin, I need to file that with DFI, which I am doing right now. I thought I had already done that, but I only see my complaint through the FTC.

It's frustrating to me that they would even expect people to pay on TOP of what they already paid in illegal interest.

Ok, complaint has been filed to Wisconsin DFI/Attorney General. They already responded to my FTC complaint, using the same response they sent me. I replied, referencing my original letter, pointing out that I overpaid, and expect my account to be paid in full with a refund. I know that I am fully within my rights to expect that!

500FC is an irritating bunch. I eventually got them to give me a PIF, but gave up on getting the refund. I also have a complaint against them in with the FTC and Wisconsin Attorney General's office, so they're obviously building up a bit of a reputation.

I have a Miami, OK address for them....did anyone file a complaint with their state AND Oklahoma? If that's what needs to be done, I'll do it right away!

I got a response from Oklahoma--they sent my complaint on, and 500FastCash has until June 5 to respond--sure would like to get this all resolved by then--at this point, I'm still expecting a PIF and a refund.

I got a letter this weekend from the Attorney General of Oklahoma, stating that they are turning the case over to the Commission on Consumer Credit in Oklahoma, so hopefully there will be some progress on this--the PDL still hasn't responded to the BBB complaint and they only have until June 5. What happens if they don't respond? Does my case get dropped?
