I have 5 pdl's

ameriloan, online pdl, $260.00, paid 120.00 so far

Loan shop, online pdl, $260.00, paid nothing yet

Little loan shop, online pdl, $260.00, paid nothing yet

Mte Finance, online pdl, $390.00, paid $400.00

EME Marketing, online pdl, $260.00, paid $300.00

I live in Iowa

I am thinking of closing my checking account. i am so broke and don't know how i got myself into this mess. Do you think this is a good idea.

I closed my checking account yesturday and explined to the bank the problem. They also put an ach block on my account especially for the companies that i listed for them. My question is what do I do next? Any suggestions.

I haven't read the other thread so I'm not sure what has been stated. But next step is to write each of your ipdls and revoke their right to debit your account and revoke any wage assignments you might have signed. You will also have to give a copy of that to your HR person just in case. You can also revoke their right to contact any of your references. Now...if you owe on the principle you would offer what is allowed by your state law...if you have overpaid you will ask for a PIF statement.

Then you will need to file complaints against each one with the BBB and your states attroney's office. They sometimes can help you mediate closure with the ipdls.
