Okay, they're going to be a bear to deal with. Believe me. But you can do it. Okay? You can email them & inform them they are not licensed/legal, state the amount you borrowed and the amount you paid, and inform them that you are willing to pay 175.00 and have your account marked paid in full. They are jerks. I'm not going to lie to you. See if you can at least get that message across to them. In the meantime, file a complaint with the BBB (who will contact them on your behalf) agreeing to pay only 175.00 to have this marked pif. Okay? Also, file a complaint with your state AG, who will eventually send letters to the company on your behalf. So, what you would be doing is dealing with it on your own - but in the background the ball will be rolling with the government agencies also. It'll come out good EVENTUALLY. As long as they can NOT debit your bank account any longer, you're safe to "play their games". And they will play. Go back and forth on email and see where you get. But, like I said, file your complaints so that it'll also be working in the background, too. If you need help, just post!
