I just received a payday loan for 300 - It came with no contract - however, I did get a person to answer the phone and they explained and I agreed verbally to extend indefinitely unless I called to pay in advance. The number and name was received from the deposit as JVCfunding.com however, when I call to tell them i wish to pay the loan in full no one answers - I am asked to enter my ssn then i am forwarded to a dead line. Have I been scammed and what can I do?

well with regards to the payday loans you never know they never like to get the payments back in full to early, at-least not till they have had a good part of your pay check for a couple of months you made one mistake by taking out a payday loan and the other mistake you made was you trusted them over a verbal contract which is as good as throwing money into the well now what you need to do is stop paying them close your bank account so that they cant go in there any more and wait for them to call you up then you can have someone to speak to with regards to your account with them and what are the amount s you owed them and what are the amounts you have already paid them (you need to be stern in talking and make sure everything is given to you in writing before you do anything with anybody ).

I honestly don't think payday loans are evil in general..If you have one, now is the time to use it. Having money in a savings account paying 2% or less interest makes no sense when you are borrowing money and paying 400% on it.
