I received a call today from a Mr Davis who claimed to be from the legal dept. at the First Nat'l Bank of Delaware.
His call was nothing but threatening and he told me that since I stole money, he would report me to the PA Atty General's office. What a jerk!
I ran a check on the number that he called from and it comes from Payday-Loan-Yes.......not some legal dept. at a bank. What is he trying to pull anyway?
From what I have been seeing they are an illegal PDL.
I have already paid them back more than I have borrowed.
Has anyone else had the same phone call or dealings with these people?

I just sent them an email and asked that it be forwarded to Mr Robert Lewis who called and attemped to intimidate me.
I told them I'm not stupid and that the number he called from as well as the number he left for me are not from a legal dept. at a bank but from payday-loan-yes themselves.
I also told him not to worry about contacting the AG's office because I already did.
I also told him not to call at work because since I work for a state gov't agency his calls will be monitored and/or recorded.
What a scumbag!!!

Just another bit of info to add...........
Since Mr Robert Lewis (who called me today) claimed he was from the legal dept. of the First National Bank of Delaware I went to the State of Delaware website and checked their list of banks. They do not show a bank by the name he gave me. I also sent the state of Delaware banking dept. an email and told them about his call and where he said he was from and that his 2 phone #'s were to Payday-Loan-Yes and not a bank. I'll update when I get additional info from them.
I also filed a complaint with the FTC against Payday-Loan-Yes/Fast Cash Advance.
If they want to play the game and threaten me, I can play too!

KAK, FIrst National is a collection agency associated with PDL Yes and a host of other PDLS. If you type the number posted in the search box above, you will see many posts regarding this company and other pdls. Another member has been posting about this company the past few days too. I have dealt with them myself regarding PDL Yes. Send them a request for debt validation and be done with them. When I contacted them, they would not give me a addy but I did get a fax.......800-887-9284...
Here is a sample letter you can use as a template

Also, here is the other thread about this company

He did not say he was from First National (or a collection agency).
He specifically said he was from the First Naional Bank of Delaware.
If that's the case, he grossly misrepresented himself.
His caller ID and the phone # he gave me to call also came back to PDL Yes-not a collection agency.
It sounds like they will try anything to get people to give in to them.

I understand that. When they called me they said they were from First National Bank. I researched the number and came up with Cash Net 500, Global Payday and several other pdl's...including PDL Yes. The number you posted is also linked to First National and these companies. That is why I posted the information for you. Many of these companies have several d/b/a's and when you research a phone number or address you figure out who is partnered with whom.
You are right, they will say and try anything to get you to give them the money they think you owe them, including not telling you who they really are and misrepresenting themselves...it is not uncommmon. The key is that you reported them and that you did not fall prey to their schemes.

I just received a confirmation from the State of Delaware that they don't have such a bank as the "First National Bank of Delaware".
Roxy-thanks for all the info.
I guess I'll hear from First National Collection Agency next-unless PDL Yes and Mr Lewis got my message loud and clear yesterday.

kak, no problem I am just happy you did not fall for their tactics. There are so many members/guests who when threatened give in to that fear and pay. So many of them believe they will loose their jobs, be take to court or be arrested when they are threatend.
