Some payday loans are illegal to conduct business in the state you're in. If it's determined they are illegally doing business in your state, it's possible that you have already paid them back everything you need to and you can work at getting paid in full letters from them. If you can provide us with the companies you have the loans with, the original amount borrowed, the amount you have paid to the them (even if it's only the extension/refi fees) and the state you're in, we can determine if the companies are illegal in your state. Also, we will need to know if these are internet or storefront.
