does anybody have anything positive about PDL or are all the companies jerks?

i took three:

fastandreliable
one click cash
loan shop

i should have fastandreliable paid off by the end of this month. is everyone saying they keep coming back to haunt you?

please let me know

My personal experiences with pdls were nightmares. It got to the point where I was paying them so much money and ignoring my necessities(utilities, food, etc.), I had no other choice but to file bankruptcy.

Well, put it this way; there MIGHT be a good PDL out there, but not in my experience. Contrary to their propaganda (and that's what it is), they do NOT want to help you out in emergencies, they want to get you under their thumbs and keep you making payments. It took me a long time but thanks to this site (MANY thanks!!) and to the State of Maryland financial commission I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I agree....I did not have good experinces with pdls either. It was such a battle with them. I hope things work out better for you....

well I definately think that all IPDL's are horrid, but I do have one pdl with advance america and it is a storefront pdl, they seem to be good, in the fact that they follow the state laws and have worked with me to pay back the loan. cash central also follows the state laws and will work with you. now they all still charge you stupid fee's but at least it is within the state laws. but for anyone who does not have a PDL, dont get one!
