c38, good for you! The manager at the store front I've been to told me they just want their money back. Basically that's it in a nut shell. So, of course, they're going to want it ALL. But if it comes down to it and you tell them you can come in and make payments because it is NOT POSSIBLE to pay it in full, they will more than likely take the offer. The store front manager I spoke with said that 99% of store fronts will take payments. It may take some persuading, but most of them will do it so they get their money back. And like c38 said, it's either payments or nothing. I do believe if I was a store front manager, I'd take the payments! And, by the way, they're supposed to "freeze" the fees if you're making payments on your loan.
