Okay, stupid me, I had two payday loans with the worst 2 outfits on the planet...Arrowhead Investments and Geneva Roth Company. Together, they've deducted more than $3000 from my account. Can I dispute the charges with the bank?

Hi fisher mr..
Hmmm...at any point did you tell the bank to decline the ACH transactions or did you send notice to these PDL's revoking their ACH privliges?
What state are you in and how much did you borrow/pay back to each one?

now that you have found that they have already taken money out of your account then the only thing left to do is to tell your bank to stop any further transactions. you cannot get back your money, but can at least prevent from drawing any further. you can also close your present account and open another account with another bank. you can dispute it with your bank, but i guess all they will say is that they thought they were entitled to draw money from your account and you knew about it.

How much was each loan for? Once you paid back the principal then you would be justified in disputing with your bank--but you first need to tell the PDL's that you are revoking their authorizations to debit. Make sure the loan principals are paid back first, then notify the PDL's (a formality, since they will try and debit anyway, but it makes you look good) and then work with your bank.
