Skymerle,
I have already been sending Josh the email. No responses. I did get a response to day from edollars customer service and this is what they said.
"READ THE LOAN DOCUMENTS THAT YOU SIGNED"
I created another thread because I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions to reply back with. If I replied right now I would get myself in trouble. I am tired and cranky!
Question you had said when the collection agency calls to request a refund. How can they help? I thought I could only request it to edollarsdirect. Did I read it wrong? I have not gotten any calls from a collection agency. Edollarsdirect and a few of the other ones I overpaid said they sent me to collections but still no calls. |

Mandy, I said to ask the ca for your refund as a way to get the upper hand. I still think a lot of the pdl & ca are connected..like in same room making their little illegal loans, then calling people saying nasty things. I'm going to say to them over & over & over & over 'when can I expect my refund'...until they hang up on me.
Eddie with edollarsdirects (or whomever he is with) said the same thing to me..'read my contract; pay attention to pg 4 that says their state laws govern'. Yeah, yeah..there is no page 4. I emailed him back telling him the contract was a work of fiction. |

| I will continue to send my emails to edollarsdirect and when/if the collection agency that they say they sent me to contacts me I will tell them I want a refund for the illegal loan. I guess it is worth the try. |

| This is all fine and well, guys. But for those of us who have only storefront pdls - and have paid in cash by the due date - how will we find out the ACH information? None of them have ever debited my account. Certainly I can't call the pdls and ask for the information, but I also do not wish to wait for them to try and debit me - overdraft fees can't be the answer. Any ideas? Would a letter of revocation for EFT suffice? Do licensed storefronts respectthese letters? Especially worried now that the new law has passed the senate (I am in Ohio). I am working with T&C, and have - for now - stopped payment on the checks (they're not in default yet), but I know they will ACH me next, and closing my checking account is not a possibility right now due to other outstanding checks... |

I've got a possible connection to the processor for ImpactCashUSA. I went to the BBB site and it provides an address of impactpayments.com, and ach processor. I remember that from some payments, and emails which I recieved while doing a payoff months ago.
Any thoughts or experiences?
I suppose if they are intertwined, the processor isn't going to be very cooperative, are they???? |

The processor is not the one that revokes the ACH authorization, but the pdl will think twice about not complying with your wishes to revoke authorization if they know that the proceesor is aware of things.
The processor has been able to help me by forwarding on a copy of the C/D and Revoke letters that I sent to the PDL to their contact at the pdl.
You have to revoke with the PDL, and/or your bank prior to dealing with the processor. The processor is more of a second step, especially if the pdl starts to debit your account against your wishes. |

That sounds like what I did in getting 2 PIF's. It seems from reading on here that people have had varying levels of success, but it looks like you have your bases covered. The companies never did respond in writing to my requests, but when I went to the websites they both said my accounts had been paid in full, and actually encouraged me to apply for another loan... haha. Check their websites to see what they say! |

Is it necessary to contact the PDL and tell them you want to revoke authorization, or just go directly to the ACH folks? _________________ Register today to encash debtcc points. |

Go directly to the ACH processor first, I would think. Make damn certain your money is secure before you tell the PDL that you're cutting them off. Otherwise, they're likely to clean out your account. _________________ -

Actually wulf, the guest should revoke authorization first (after the account is protected), then contact the processors and let them know that you have revoked the pdl's rights to debit your account any further, but they refuse to follow the law!

(a) A preauthorized electronic fund transfer from a consumer's account may be authorized by the consumer only in writing, and a copy of such authorization shall be provided to the consumer when made. A consumer may stop payment of a preauthorized electronic fund transfer by notifying the financial institution orally or in writing at any time up to three business days preceding the scheduled date of such transfer. The financial institution may require written confirmation to be provided to it within fourteen days of an oral notification if, when the oral notification is made, the consumer is advised of such requirement and the address to which such confirmation should be sent.
(b) In the case of preauthorized transfers from a consumer's account to the same person which may vary in amount, the financial institution or designated payee shall, prior to each transfer, provide reasonable advance notice to the consumer, in accordance with regulations of the Board, of the amount to be transferred and the scheduled date of the transfer. |

| The question of the week and other items covers part of every page I go to on here and makes it difficult to read and to reply. How do I get rid of this or move it over? Thank you |
