Hi, welcome
The first thing to do would be make a list of all of your loans..Are they all internet? Figure out what you've paid and how much the original loans were for.

Just curious, what bank do you bank with? Does anyone know how tough it is to get Bank of America to close off an account properly so that no further ACH transactions occur?

Ask your bank, if they're not willing to close your account or if they state that any pending ACH debits will "force" open your account, if you can put a HARD DEBIT BLOCK on it. They should be able to do that. Your account will not be closed, so it can't be "forced" open (which I think is a crock), but yet with the HARD DEBIT BLOCK on it, NOTHING will go through. That way only credits can hit your account. With the HARD DEBIT BLOCK, the pdl's can use their 1,000 different names and keep trying to put through debits, but they won't go through.
