Is ameriloan legal in Iowa, they are threatening legal judgement on me. I have emailed in a c&d and asked for proof of lendability in Iowa, but they keep saying that they are legal. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

To the best of my knowledge, ameriloan is not legal anywhere. Are they still debiting your bank account?

Yup they are ILLEGAL in US period! Offer to pay principal only, and make sure you send them a "Wage Assignment" revocation letter.

They were easy to deal with for me. Best of Luck Razz

My account is closed, I offered to settle on the principal minus what I have paid and they said no. I sent in a C&D and a request for proof of lendability in Iowa, what do I do now?

send AG,BBB AND FTC complaints.AMERLIOAN is not licensed anywhere.they will not give proof of lendability,cause they have none.

Make sure that you revoke any voluntary wage assignments with them. Also, be sure to give a copy to your employer.

I'm at a new employer do I need to give the new employer one even if they don't know where I work or my work number?

I would say you probably don't have to worry about it, but when dealing with these slugs, anything goes. Perhaps someone else has an opinion on this?
