Settlement Offer-$160.00**waiving all fees**-which reflects the repayment amount of the deposited amount to your account. ***THIS IS CONTINGENT THAT NO OTHER DEBITS ARE RETURNED ON YOUR ACCOUNT THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY PAID****
This offer is good until 08/29/08, this must be paid by Moneygram***THERE ARE NO OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS ON THIS SETTLEMENT OFFER.
MoneyGram Instructions: Call 1-800-926-9400 for a location near you, or at most Wal-Mart's
Pay To: ameriloan
Receive Code: 4311
City/State: Miami, OK
Account--144868163
Once paid, an email confirmation will be sent regarding your new balance equaling ZERO. If not paid by the above date, ********further action will take place on the account per the contract for the full amount now due in collections of $640.00********.
Ameriloan Compliance Department
Fax-1-800-475-1379

They are actually waiving the fees (if I pay by 8/29), without me having to argue. I thought this might be helpful if anyone is having trouble contacting them or is wondering what action they might take.

Is that actually what you paid counting all the rollover fees? I'm pretty sure ameriloan isn't legal.

yes, I paid $240 in rollover fees - it appears they are turning the rollover fees into principal - amazing! I guess the letter I sent from the template on this site worked, at least with them. Now if the other 3 I have would be just as easy to work with, but I doubt it!

Good job Tea, they were stubborn as heck when I dealt with them, but after I sent my complaints to the AG, BBB, and FTC they eased up, they sent me a letter first stating that they would not settle on anything, then a week after I got a letter from the BBB they said they would consider the loan PIF.
I guess they looked at their paper work. That was the 4th or 5th loan I had gotten with them when I found this site and was struggling, they should have been giving me some sort of refund, but I didn't press it, I was just happy for it to be over with!
It feels sooooooo good to be done!!!!

I didn't have much trouble with them either. All the "fees" I had paid were magically turned into "principal" and that was the end of it.
