I am in the state of Maryland and I currently have multiple payday loans with:
TITAN GROUP
JVC PROCESSING
CARDINAL MANAGEMENT
AMERILOAN
BAYSIDE CASH
UNITED CASH LOAN
BEACON
PAYMENT DIRECT
Are any of these licensed to issue loans in the state of Maryland?

Lending of payday loans is illegal in Maryland. This is why you should only pay back the principal amount. If you have paid more than the principal amount, then ask for a refund.

I agree with the advice in the other posts; however, speaking as a Maryland resident, I would also strongly suggest contacting the MD Office of Financial Regulation in Baltimore; their address and phone # are listed on this site under the State laws for PDLs. Along with this forum, they offer a LOT of help. Please keep us posted.
