I seem to be deeply attracted to buying things I can't afford and spending money I don't have. I went through personal bankruptcy once before (2002) and now all I have is a car loan and the worst mistake I ever made; Payday Loans! Worse they are Internet PDL's and in some cases I can't track them down because they did not post a phone #. I have 17 of them (I go through manic periods where I honestly don't know what I am doing) outstanding and I am sure I will loose my job.

My sister is willing to help me but I can't put together a good list or anything else. In most case I have paid far more than the original amout. In a few that I did to try and pay predious loans have defaulted/ gone to collection. I don't have any supporting paperwork in most cases. To be fair to myself I do pay support for my 2 kids and it stretches me to the limit. I also have them 3 nights per week. Did I mention that I agreed to 2X child support over the state mandate. It seemed right at the time because the ex is good with money and I know that she'll pay the mortgage. The net is though that I can't afford it any longer.

Here is the list (I have doc for some and have called some. If it is listed without phone number I do not have much info. I have no idea what states these originated in.)

The total amount is over $5000. I knew I was getting in over my head but I borrowed to pay interest and fees on existing loans.

You aren't alone. I got myself in a similar situation. You have made a great first step coming here. The advice I have been provided thus far about how to cancel wage assignments and the ACH autodrafts has been invaluable. I would recommend doing a search on both to get started.

This is the place to find help - they have helped me greatly with my pdl's. If you go to the first page the stickys at the top will lead to the info you need. You also need to tell us what state you are in and how much you have paid on these loans.

There are a few of your lenders who aren't licensed to lend to Arkansas residents. I need to go through them and weed them out. I may not be able to get back to this thread until later this evening because I have a little league game to attend, but I will do my best to leave SOME info you can read before I have to go. First, click on the link below to view Arkansas payday lender laws.
http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/state_detail.cfm?id=AR

Arkansas allow an internet based payday loan company to lend legally as long as it is licensed in any US State. They would need to follow the laws of the state they are licensed out of, not the state the consumer is in. The key is finding out what state your lenders are in, then searching for that particulars states lender laws.

CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders. I need to do some research on the rest of your lenders but I don't have the time right now. Meanwhile, you might take on that task yourself, just type their name in the search box located in the upper right hand corner of this forum, read through some of the threads that other members have started to find out who is legal and who isn't, you can also locate addresses etc. this way.

Shamrock Mktg is a payday loan company located overseas, they are illegal.

hi, I saw that you had National PDL. I just dealt with them, meaning I sent them an email stating that I was in financial distress and demanded that they close my account and consider it PAID IN FULL since I gave them almost double the amount I borrowed. I got a response and they did just that, marked the account paid in full. I did the same thing with another payday loan with the same results. Maybe you can do the same thing with some of your payday loans.

I too, have fallen into this trap. Between my husband and I we have 5 payday loans ( 4 internet loans and 1 store front). We live in North Carolina where payday loans are illegal. The one I have in the store front loan place, the check has been returned due to NSF and we have since closed this account because we just couldn't keep paying these charges any more. My question is can I be put into jail for that check being returned to the store front loan place, it is located in Cana, Va and I live in North Carolina. I want to repay the loans but don't have all the money to do that right now. Also, the one loan my husband has is with Web Payday and according to their website they are no longer making new loans and it lists a number to call if you have an outstanding loan with them. What do I need to do?

Hello, all! I've been researching on this site for the last few days and I HAVE to thank Ali333 (I think) and Shazzers for your invaluable information. Long story short, I'm in Arkansas and had the following:
Date "Lender" Loan Amount Repaid to date
4-15-09 inmyaccount.com $200 $560
4-21-09 unitedcashloans.com $300 $650
4-21-09 lazerlending $200 $520
4-22-09 prestigegm.com $200 $645

I spoke with my bank and completed ACH revocation paperwork with them. I made sure ACH transactions couldn't force through anyway. I used the letter found on this site, embedded AR laws, tweeked it to suit my situation and started faxing and emailing YESTERDAY. I just got this email:

Your loan w/Vince Enterprises is forgiven
Tuesday, July 14, 2009 3:16 PM
From: "Steven Capraio" <steven>
To: tryumphant1@yahoo.com

I received your threatening letter. Your loan is forgiven.

Respectfully,

Steven

Try doing a search in them. Hust type in the name of the company in the search box located in the upper right hand corner of this forum. Try typing something like: "paydaymax address".
