ARM Phonecall

I can not do this anymmore. Between yesterday and today, I can not take the phonecalls. I was just yelled at by a woman from ARM. I asked for a debt validation and she did not know what I was talking about. When I explined what it was and her compnay was required to respond to it in writing by law, she started yelling at me telling me that if I can't pay back a loan I should not take out the loan and before I could get anything else she said have a good day and hungup on me. UGH!!!!!

Roxy, Calm down. When it rains it pours!!!!Do you even know what she was calling about? I can not believe that collectors do not even know what a dv letter is. You would think they would. Anyway, they are mot important now, you are. Take a deep breath and just be calm Send them your request for the validation, and just sit back and wait.

Yes they were collecting for Paycheck Today. I guess I need to find their fax number too.

roxy, i have been going through the same thing for days. i just continue to stand firm, and not give these low lifes the power to control my day. i even went as far as to inform mr so and so from united cash loans that i am not the one he can intimidate. so if he would like to continue to illegally collect on an illegal debt, then he can feel free to send me some illegal debt validation. and until then, i have nothing further to say

I had someone call me yesterday too.. Missy from Accounts Receivables from Jacksonville FL... she said she was calling on behalf of National Title Loans.. and I was WHAT?????? I was like.. I have not heard of them, then she said, they are a parent company of and she started rattling off diff. pdl companies who I again said WHAT?? I never heard of those nor dealt with those. So I quickly got her info and told her I need to research her claim and I would get back with her, and of course she kept on , so I finally said, let me ask you, if you got a call from someone randomly stating you owed x amount of dollars , would you automatically pay it with out double checking?? -uh no.. then I said thank you , please do not call this number back.

hung up.

Thaks Karen, what concerns me is the bbb lists them and they do not have a bad rep with them.




I told her she is not to contact me by phone etc..and she got even more defensive. I really have had it today.

I htink Iwill wait until monday and call for a fax number and mail the letter cerified today.

roxy, one of my ca's have a good report with the bbb also. but that itself does not exempt them from following the law. so if they are attempting to collect, then i would still like to see debt validation. i am not disputing that i owe them money, i would just like to see how they came up with the amount that they say i owe them. and only then will i decide if it is the legal amount that i should pay. just b/c they are a ca, and just b/c they have a good report with the bbb, does not mean i have to send them the amount they are requesting without them ever giving me any proof that i owe it.

hey Roxy, ARM's fax# is 904-493-4654. I had to deal with them for paycheck today, but they settled with me. I spoke to the owner of the company himself, he's very reasonable. I'm sorry, but I completely forget his name!

Thank you guys for you input. I wouldn't be so upset except 1) I aid paycheck today 805.00 on a 400.00 loan
2) the person who contacted me literaly yelled at me, 3) I received a phone call from a man yelling into the phone (my name), you are to call me today , phone number, and yelled louder, i mean today and lastly 4) When I called the number to see who called me I asked the person Jason, who answered the phone what company I am calling, he asked for the phone number the mmessage was left at and when I replied, you do not need the number to tell me what company this is, he yelled at me saying, you don't have to yell at me and be rude. I told him I was not yelling, however, this was yelling and yelled at him to have a good day and hung up. This is complete and utter bs.

Also, who do I file with regarding their behavior. I know the bbb, but would they be FTC? I went to fax my letter to these idiots and they gave me a fax number not in service. I so do not want to call them again.

I just faxed to 1-904-493-4654 and it went through. Try faxing it again. Maybe the line was busy. My "blank piece of paper" was faxed and received.

The girl gave me 473.. I did refax it and it went trough. I was tempted to add a xerox of my hind end with lipstic prints to it. I am so unbelievably pissed at these people. The ywere beyond rude and UGLY. Oh and to add to the misery of the day Cash cAll called me and they have not received my payment for this month...I called the bank and evidently I did something wrong. Atleast the girl at cash call was nicee.

Damn! Remember, roxy, I got hit with everything in like a two day time span. Remember? I thought I was going to friggin DIE. So do not feel alone. All was well and then all came crashing in at one time. I got through it with all of you guys. I'm still alive. You will be too. I know you're stressing, but you know how to deal with this crap. We've survived dealing with illegal foreign companies, we can deal with this also.

I feel so bad..I spent this whole day on me and I have not even looked to see what is going on with everyone else. My question is will I survive the waiting? I may have to go to the Dr and have him up my medicine temporarily. You think I could get elephant size sleeping pills and anti depressant and anti anxiety pills. ......
